Lúnasa starts a 5-months technical design project in collaboration with Cranfield University.

Lúnasa is excited to receive the SME runner-up award for the 2nd Galactica Hackathon 2021. The challenge was to demonstrate the innovation of integrating two or more of the sectors of Advanced Engineering, Aerospace, and Textiles

During this event, our CTO demonstrated how Lúnasa is using Space-Tech and advanced engineering to transform the in-space satellite servicing platform into a reusable and sustainable vehicle, providing significantly low-cost access to space for SmallSats and other in-orbit services. The pitch received lots of accreditation from the Jury and the grant was funded by European Commission’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
