William Easdown

"Guiding you through space"

William is a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) engineer for Lúnasa, working on how the spacecraft will determine its position and orientation. Before joining the team, he completed an MSc in Astronautics and Space Engineering at Cranfield University, where his thesis studied the GNC and robotics hardware requirements for on-orbit satellite servicing. He has previously also worked at Lockheed Martin under the UK Satellite Launch Programme and at RAL Space on camera electronics for Mars and low Earth orbit satellites, as well as serving a year as Chair of UKSEDS, the national student space society.
